Words are seeds, packaged ideas waiting to be cultivated. Truth like life begins as seeds, small and unimpressive at first. Like life, seeds of truth are many faceted, misunderstood, easily overlooked and undervalued. Like life, truth diversifies and occupies every unsuspecting niche. The everyday truths of habits are over-taxed and block out the potentials of less accustomed truths. Easily overlooked and missed also is the essential truth that life necessarily evolves; and together, life and its circumstances change, which is the reason why reflective consciousness — personal intelligence — must ever pursue the undiscovered truths that can free us from the worn out presumptions of outmoded ways of thinking that “entangle us in knots of our own makingâ€. (Rilke)
“Oh, you of little faith!†Jesus was exasperated by the faithlessness and small-mindedness of his apostles. What's changed? In faithlessness and small mindedness we live by pedestrian truths while we tread on unaware seeds of great value under foot. Evolution consciousness is a door into new truths; but we are reluctant to open the door to the complexities of truths immediately available that can open to us if we but make the effort.
It is terribly presumptuous of me to think of myself as a prophet, but if rejection is the sign of a prophet, I might yet qualify. Dullness of habit blinds and imprisons all of us. We are blind to the signs of the times, and anyone who tries to expose the hard truths behind them has little popular appeal. Nevertheless, seeds of truthful answers to life’s crises and mysteries continue to present themselves; and so, the one who sees the deeper truths behind the critical signs of the times is forced, in good conscience to preach truth no matter how unwelcome.
So I continue to write books in pursuit of truth’s discovery. All should cultivate ground that gives root to newness and escape from dead and over-wrought truths that have lost their light in the times. Small of faith, we lose ourselves in the weeds of deception we propagate.
Words of truth are live seeds that have the potential of lighting our ways. The light of consciousness is the sunshine needed to sprout and grow seeds of truth; so, I write books, books of enlightenment beyond the cultural dead ends that lead to implosions of web-life and collapses of civilizations.
What will I do with my books? I will continue to spread truth as I understand it in an attempt to bring others to fresh ideas of enlightenment and the newness of truth that can liberate us all. My books are a granary filled with dormant seeds wanting to grow in minds open and eager for new truth and escape from the desperation of cultural overreach and religious frustration. Pick up and read. Open yourself to newness. Join with others to expand on life’s potentials. Ask yourself, “What can I do to spread new truth?†Please spread the Word, for the newness you bring to others will enlarge your sense of worth and wellbeing. Of greater value than money are books, the legacy of live words, open ideas.
